Anna Henriksson

Originally from Helsinki, Finland, Anna is an experienced psychologist with extensive experience as a psychotherapist. She graduated as a psychologist from ITESO University in Guadalajara and holds a Master’s degree in Cognitive Behavioral Psychotherapy. She has worked in the field of clinical psychology providing therapeutic care to adolescent and adult patients in both English and Spanish. Anna has completed various courses and diplomas to enhance her ability to provide better care to her patients, including Perinatal Grief, Postpartum Depression and its Psychotherapeutic Intervention (2020), Child and Adolescent Sexual Abuse, Maltreatment, Depression, and Suicide (2023), Suicide as a Form of Escape, Family Abuse, and Mistreatment (2023), When Trauma Burns and Cuts (2023), Psychological Intervention in Obesity Surgery, Eating Disorders, and Metabolic Diseases (2021), and Child Play Therapy (2021).

Viri is originally from the city of Manzanillo, Colima, but has been living in Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco since 2019. She studied Psychology at the University of Colima and specializes in

individual and couples therapy, as well as adolescent and adult psychological care, and vocational guidance for teenagers. She holds various certifications and diplomas that have enriched her knowledge, including Brief Therapy and Crisis Intervention, Emotional Regulation Strategies, Psychological and Emotional First Aid, Clinical Psychology Intervention Techniques, and DBT: Tools in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy.

Specializes in: Providing in-person therapy in Puerto Vallarta and online therapy worldwide, conducted in Spanish.

Clinical Psychologist, originally from Guadalajara, se graduated from the Univer University of Guadalajara (1996-2000) and has lived in Puerto Vallarta since 2020.

Marina currently offers psychological services with a cognitive behavioral therapy approach, providing psychological care, evaluation and intervention for teenagers and adults who are seeking professional help for diverse mental health issues.

She currently offers therapy at a Be Well Center’s clinic in Puerto Vallarta and online services for anyone around the world.

She has various certifications and courses for the treatment of patients with addictions, social reintegration, the importance of psychological habits in disease prevention, stress management, thanatology, development of self esteem and treatment and care for children with ADHD. She has a 20 year history of working as a psychologist in clinical facilities for patients with addictions, this has not only enriched her experience regarding the interventions for addiction but also the other psychological and clinical challenges in inpatient facilities.
